We want to close off an open set of stairs but not lose the light. Is there any way to get half blocks cut on the diagonal?

Hello Iris,

Sorry, we cannot cut the blocks diagonal. However, we do have triangle blocks that can be used in a pre-assembled panel and or we can make a stair step panel.

We have never heard of anyone making a fish tank out of your blocks. since, we do not sell any corner blocks this will very difficult to make. You would need to be familiar with silicone caulking which is used in all fish tanks installation.

I am building a bar, want glass block shelves for the bar. Can I cut these blocks in half to make 4" shelves, and if so, what type of blade makes the cleanest cut.

Hello,

We do not recommend cutting the blocks in half. To do so will change the structure of the blocks and cause it to fail. The smallest block we sell is a 6x6x2 acrylic block.

I want to build a wall covering the gap of 4' x 6' closet door (Bi-fold 4' x 6'). This would expand my Kitchen Pantry and at the same time provide a good look inside the home near the entrance door. Appreciate details.

Hello Sri,

To cover gap of 4' x 6' closet door (Bi-fold 4' x 6', you will need to order a panel that measures 42" x 66" with a rough opening of 42 x 66". The panel can then be nailed on to the wall frame and covered with drywall. Because the Pre-fabricated panels are impact resistance you can use them for exterior or interior walls.

I'm looking at using your acrylic block between 2 open built in cabinets(back to back)to allow light into a dry area of a bathroom. If I build the panel myself and it is trapped between the 2 cabinets and walls, is it necessary to caulk the joints?

This is so innovative.

I was thinking of using the blocks in my front - to create some unique garden bed edging. Everyone else in my area has the typical stone or log. And I wanted to create something modern that would fit with the stodgy exterior of the complex. Any ideas on how to approach this? Perhaps this could be your next gallery project?

Hello,

It is possible to build a unique garden bed edging with the blocks. We would have to pre-fabricate the panels then with a 90 connector you can put together your garden bed edging. For this project you can go with frosted, clear or cross-rib.

For an actual quote or accessories list please send us a drawing of your project.

We will be happy to help you get this project off the ground.

i would like to build a half wall of acrylic blocks, 7 blocks by 5 blocks high, using the 8" blocks it would be 56" long. i will use the 48" track at the base, but i am worried about the track being 8" shorter than the total length of my blocks. can i use only one track to mount the half wall with a 4" offset on both ends, or should i purchase two tracks and cut the second one down to the extra 8" i am short track? thanks.

Hi Chris,

It is not necessary to use the T-bar frame, but it does help keep the blocks in the framing. As for gaps in the track coverage, It should be ok; you will have to use extra caulk to seal the gaps of your parameter. If you need an extra strip call us.
