Does this acrylic have any discoloring, scratching, or cracking over time or durability issues vs glass? How does this compare to glass other than the weight and cost?

Hi Sarah,
UV Stability test
Type------------------Fed Test Std. 406--ASTM D14353 Vinyl Fixed------------No Effect---------Negligible Effect Vinyl Casement-----No Effect---------Negligible Effect Vinyl Awning-----------No Effect---------Negligible Effect Aluminum Fixed-----No Effect---------Negligible Effect Test Reports are Available Upon Request 2. UV stability refers to discoloring of the block, or in this case the lack of discoloring. 3. ASTM D1435 simulates 3 years if Arizona exposure.
Scratching- the new acrylic blocks are stronger and more resistant to scratching and cracking and are very durable.
Acrylic Vs Glass weight, Acrylic blocks are 16 oz vs. 128 oz for Glass blocks.
Unlike glass blocks all acrylic block windows have a 10 yrs warrantee, and approved and sometimes requested by city inspectors.
---------- Thank You!
