I currently have a garden bathtub with with 3 long windows on the back wall and two sides. I would love to convert this space to a walk-in shower. I would need to replace the current windows with your glass block and then cover the rest of the walls with tile - is this feasible? do you have any photos of this type of application? thanks

Hello Jane,
Yes you can replace your window with our acrylic blocks windows and have the insulation properties of a dual pane window.
For photos of windows in a bathroom area click on the photo tab to the left.
Thank You

trying to decide whether to use acrylic or glass block for a walk in shower installation. are there cleaning, scratching, or scale issues that are more prevelant with acrylic vs. glass. you see lots of pictures of the acrylic block being used in shower and bath application.

Will the blocks scratch?
With normal use, scratching isn't a problem. However, if your blocks do become scratched, those scratches are easy to remove using a plastic polish.

I would like to build an arc with a 4' diameter using 8x8 acrlyic block. can I do this 2' radius. If so what is the front and back spacing between blocks? is there a track made that will accomodate this arc?

Sorry, the smallest radius we can make is a 27.5" radius which will make your diameter 55".
If you would like a quote on this project please feel free to contact us at 800-500-2665.

My bathroom is very small with the tub taking most of the space. I have been looking into changing the tube for a walking shower with glass blocks but the standard sizes are too big for my space. My tub takes a space of roughly 4 and half feet by 3 with a toilet almost directly next to the tub's longest side. Do you have a diy set to fit my needs?
