I live in an older home. there is a window in the main wall of shower. I would like to take that window out and put in the glass blocks. The window is 36" x 37" and about 6" deep. What would be the best choice... speaking in terms of cost and quality. I don't want to pay a little now and a lot more later.

Dear old Home,

We have many windows that are perfect for you.
In the fixed windows, we have a 34"x34" vinyl framed window.
In the operable windows, we have a 31 x 37" (Hopper, Awning, and Casement. Lastly, we have a Retrofit window that we can make to exact size you want it will cost 20% more but it will fit perfect into your opening.

Hi Jim,

When replacing any window with another you will need to replace the flashing and in your case the frame around your opening. All our windows come with a nail fin for easy installation. Retro fit windows do not come with a nail fin and thus your opening will need to be sloped to allow the water to go away from the house. Please check with your local code manual for acceptable installation of a replacement window.
